The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks volleyball team (Charlottesville, VA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA)

The Celtics (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Radford went down by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks encounter the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA).
