The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) and the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valencia's volleyball squad beat Sandia Prep by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Valencia upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
The Sundevils now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host East Mountain for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10.
