The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) and the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), saw Our Lady of Good Counsel's soccer squad beat Bishop O'Connell by a count of 4-0.
The Falcons now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) test on Tuesday, October 10. Our Lady of Good Counsel will meet a Lions squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Dunbar (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Bishop O'Connell drops to 6-5 on the season. The Knights host DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD) to meet the Stags in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) test on Tuesday, October 10. The Stags come into the test with a record of 8-3. DeMatha won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA)
