Mehlville Panthers (St. Louis, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pattonville Pirates (Maryland Heights, MO), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 4-21 record. They take the field next when they host Nerinx Hall for a Class 4 District 2 challenge on Monday, October 9. Mehlville will face a Markers squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Clayton (St. Louis, MO). The Markers record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Pattonville falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Seckman (Imperial, MO) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 9. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 14-8.
