In Thursday's non-league contest, the Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars face the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Central Valley will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alma (Alma, NE).
