Iowa High School Volleyball - Grundy Center over Aplington-Parkersburg

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans face the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 5. Grundy Center will attempt to better on its 31-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 33-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA).

With the loss, Aplington-Parkersburg moves to 22-7 on the year. The Falcons host West Central (Maynard, IA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 7. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a record of 2-14. West Central won 3-2 in their recent league contest against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
