Virginia High School Volleyball - Bishop McNamara over Bishop Ireton

In Thursday's league contest, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) volleyball squad were winner over the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Mount Airy Christian Academy (Mount Airy, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Bishop McNamara will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Arlington Baptist (Baltimore, MD).

With the loss, Bishop Ireton moves to 3-9 on the year. The Cardinals host Madeira (McLean, VA) to battle the Snails in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Snails go into the contest with a record of 1-3.
