The Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) volleyball overcame the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Central Lyon upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to play the Cyclones in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. The Cyclones go into the outing with a record of 9-17. Harlan lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA)

The Orabs now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan for a Siouxland outing on Thursday, October 12. Sheldon will play a Generals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Generals record now stands at 4-15.
