The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) and the host Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), saw Eureka's volleyball squad beat Farmington by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Eureka upgrades its record to 18-8 on the year. The Hornets host Brimfield (Brimfield, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Brimfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Delavan (Delavan, IL)
The Farmers now own a 8-17 record. They play next when they host Macomb for a Prairieland bout on Tuesday, October 10.
