Ohio High School Volleyball - Heath edged by Johnstown-Monroe

The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies held off the host Heath Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Johnnies now have a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Union for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Johnstown-Monroe will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Lions record now stands at 6-13.

The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood (Hebron, OH). The Lancers enter the Licking County test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Lakewood was nudged by Northridge (Johnstown, OH), 3-1, in a league test.
