The Lakeview Honkers held off the host St. Mary's Crusaders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Honkers now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coquille for a 3A Far West test on Friday, October 6. Lakeview will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 3-2 league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Red Devils record now stands at 12-6.
The Crusaders (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Glide (Glide, OR). The Wildcats enter the 3A Far West test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Glide held off Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR), 3-1, in a league test.
