Nebraska High School Volleyball - Shelby-Rising City over McCool Junction

The Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Shelby-Rising City upgrades its record to 12-10 on the year. The Huskies host Meridian (Daykin, NE) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 15-4. Meridian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Deshler (Deshler, NE)

The Mustangs now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley for a Crossroads outing on Tuesday, October 10. McCool Junction will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Conestoga (Murray, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 18-3.
