With the win, Mercyhurst Prep upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Lakers host Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Cathedral Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Warren (Warren, PA)

The Bears now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Saegertown for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Union City will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 19-5.
