The Oakes Tornadoes prevailed the host Richland Colts volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrington for a B - Region 3 District 5 test on Tuesday, October 10. Oakes will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Edgeley, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-5.
The Colts (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Grafton (Grafton, ND). The Spoilers enter the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Grafton gained a win over Larimore (Larimore, ND), 3-0, in a league test.
