In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Southeast Valley Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines.

The Jaguars (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 2-18 record. In their last battle, Martensdale-St. Mary's lost by Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wolverines encounter the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Midgets come into the battle with a 25-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA).
