Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), 48-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Homestead advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Chargers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Carroll won 33-14 in their recent non-league battle against East Noble (Kendallville, IN)

The Squires now own a 2-3 record.
