The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the MacArthur Generals (Levittown, NY) and the host Calhoun Colts (Merrick, NY), witnessed MacArthur's football squad knock off Calhoun by a tally of 24-6.

The Generals (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carey (Franklin Square, NY). The Seahawks enter the Section 8 Conference II contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Carey gained a win over Mepham (North Bellmore, NY), 27-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts battle the Sewanhaka Indians (Floral Park, NY) in a Section 8 Conference II contest, on Thursday, October 10. Calhoun will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 39-6 league win over Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY).
