The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Commack Cougars (Commack, NY) and the host Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), witnessed Commack's football squad knock off Patchogue-Medford by a tally of 38-12.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY). The Bulldogs enter the Section 11 Division I contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lindenhurst gained a win over Central Islip (Central Islip, NY), 49-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders battle the Brentwood Indians (Brentwood, NY) in a Section 11 Division I contest, on Friday, October 11. Patchogue-Medford will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 35-0 league win over Riverhead (Riverhead, NY).
