Crescent Loggers (Joyce, WA) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting LaConner Braves (LaConner, WA), 56-50 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Crescent advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Loggers host Neah Bay (Neah Bay, WA) to play the Red Devils in a 1B Northwest (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 12. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Neah Bay won 60-6 in their recent league battle against Darrington (Darrington, WA)

The Braves now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Waterville/Mansfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. LaConner will play a team coming off a 48-6 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WA). The record now stands at 3-2.
