New York High School Football - Massapequa trounces East Meadow

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Massapequa Chiefs football squad scored a decisive 49-7 victory over the East Meadow Jets.

The Chiefs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Oceanside (Oceanside, NY). The Sailors enter the Section 8 Conference I match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Oceanside routed Freeport (Freeport, NY), 21-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Jets confront the Hempstead Tigers (Hempstead, NY) in a Section 8 Conference I match, on Thursday, October 10. East Meadow will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 40-34 league win over Uniondale (Uniondale, NY).
