Pennsylvania High School Football - Girard College edged by Model Secondary School for the Deaf

The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles edged the host Girard College Cavaliers football team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons (St. Augustine, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 34-14 non-league win over Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL).
The Cavaliers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA). The enter the Keystone State (8 Man) challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Coventry Christian was edged by Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA), 29-28, in a league challenge.
