The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA) and the visiting Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA), witnessed Thacher's football squad knock off Laguna Blanca by a tally of 20-6.

The Toads (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA). The Spartans enter the 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Orcutt Academy gained a win over Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA), 48-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Owls battle the Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA) in a Tri-Valley (8 Man) contest, on Saturday, October 12. Laguna Blanca will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 36-0 league win over Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA).
