Phillips Exeter Academy Lions (Exeter, NH) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), 49-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Phillips Exeter Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT) to play the Crimson Knights in a Northeast Prep battle on Friday, October 11. The Crimson Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Salisbury School lost 35-20 in their recent league battle against Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA)
The Big Red now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Choate Rosemary Hall School for a Founders battle on Friday, October 11. Taft School will play a Wild Boars team coming off a 45-7 league win over Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Wild Boars record now stands at 3-0.
