The St. Mark's Lions were victorious over the host Rivers Red Wings football team by a score of 35-6 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions face the Roxbury Latin Foxes (West Roxbury, MA) in a Independent School ISL-9 challenge, on Friday, October 11. St. Mark's will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Foxes enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 38-7 league win over Groton School (Groton, MA).
The Red Wings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Middlesex (Concord, MA). The enter the Independent School ISL-9 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Middlesex lost by Tabor Academy (Marion, MA), 42-7, in a non-league challenge.
