New York High School Football - Sweet Home triumphant over Williamsville East

October 5, 2024: Amherst, NY 14228

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY), witnessed Sweet Home's football squad wallop Williamsville East by a tally of 53-21.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Lumberjacks enter the Section 6 A - 2 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, North Tonawanda was trounced by Lockport (Lockport, NY), 32-29, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Flames battle the Hamburg Bulldogs (Hamburg, NY) in a Section 6 A - 2 contest, on Thursday, October 10. Williamsville East will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 27-24 league loss to Starpoint (Lockport, NY).
