Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) and the visiting Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ), saw St. Thomas Aquinas's soccer squad hold off Dayton by a count of 2-1.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers enter the Greater Middlesex - White battle with a 4-5 record.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ).
