In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting East Brunswick Bears soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Steinert Spartans.

The Bears (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Elizabeth got by Carteret (Carteret, NJ), 5-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Colonial outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Steinert will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ).
