Vermont High School Soccer - Winooski knocks off Lyndon Institute

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Winooski Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Lyndon Institute Vikings.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds enter the Mountain outing with a 4-5 record.
Next up, the Vikings confront the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a Capital outing, on Monday, October 7. Lyndon Institute will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Falcons enter the outing with a 7-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT).
