West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Perry moves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a Mid-Penn Colonial test on Monday, October 7. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 3-7.
The Blackhawks now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Line Mountain for a Tri-Valley test on Monday, October 7. Susquenita will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Millersburg (Millersburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.
