The Pomperaug Panthers edged the visiting Brookfield Bobcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's league game.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 7. Pomperaug will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record.
The Bobcats (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers go into the game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Masuk nudged Bethel (Bethel, CT), 2-0, in a league game.
