Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) and the host Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), saw Briggs's soccer squad hold off Northridge by a count of 2-1.

The Bruins (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Pleasant tipped Marion Harding (Marion, OH), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Cristo Rey Cougar (Columbus, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Cougar enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 7-1 league win over Oakstone Academy (Westerville, OH).
