Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) and the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, PA), saw Jersey Shore's soccer squad hold off Troy by a count of 1-0.

The Bulldogs (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats enter the Heartland I battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Central Mountain Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA), 2-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA) in a North Tier battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA).
