Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Scranton Prep moves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Lackawanna - Division I test on Monday, October 7. The Comets come into the test with a record of 11-3. Abington Heights won 4-0 in their recent league test against Valley View (Archbald, PA)

The Eagles now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna - Division II test on Monday, October 7. Mountain View will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Forest City (Forest City, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
