Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), 4-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Shaker advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 6-3. Queensbury won 2-0 in their recent league test against Gloversville (Gloversville, NY)

The Plainsmen now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Suburban Council- Gray test on Tuesday, October 8. Shenendehowa will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Albany (Albany, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.
