Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the visiting Suffield Academy Tigers (Suffield, CT), saw Taft School's soccer squad prevail over Suffield Academy by a count of 5-1.

The Big Red (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Berkshire School tipped Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Suffield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Griffins enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA).
