Nebraska High School Softball - Yutan-Mead bounces Auburn

October 5, 2024: Yutan, NE 68073

The Yutan-Mead Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Auburn Bulldogs to 2 in the Patriots non-league win on Saturday.

The Patriots now possess a 23-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tekamah-Herman for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. Yutan-Mead will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Auburn moves to 18-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Pioneers come into the battle with a record of 19-5. Fort Calhoun won 11-3 in their recent league battle against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE)
