The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Brookfield Bulldogs (Brookfield, MO) and the visiting Knox County Eagles (Edina, MO), observed Brookfield's softball team prevail over Knox County by a tally of 12-0.

The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Milan (Milan, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 2 District 16 bout with a 12-10 record. In their last bout, Milan was routed by Trenton (Trenton, MO), 10-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Marceline Tigers (Marceline, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 8. Knox County will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO).
