Central Hinds Academy Cougars (Raymond, MS) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Winona Christian Stars (Winona, MS), 15-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Central Hinds Academy improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS) to play the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, October 5. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 22-10. Tri-County Academy won 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Amite School Center (Liberty, MS)

The Stars now hold a 1-3 record.
