The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) and the host Green City Gophers (Green City, MO), observed Trenton's softball team prevail over Green City by a tally of 12-2.
The Bulldogs (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Albany (Albany, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 23-5 record. In their last bout, Albany was routed by South Harrison (Bethany, MO), 14-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Gophers clash with the Brashear Tigers (Brashear, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 10. Green City will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record.
