The Highland Cougars softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Schuyler County Rams to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam County for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. Highland will confront a Midgets team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Knox County (Edina, MO). The Midgets record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Schuyler County moves to 4-13 on the season. The Rams host Scotland County (Memphis, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Scotland County lost 5-0 in their recent non-league battle against Salisbury (Salisbury, MO)
