The Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) softball routed the host Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS), 18-7 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartfield Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. Madison-Ridgeland Academy will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Jackson Academy moves to 0-3 on the season.
