Next, the Cardinals meet the Louisiana Bulldogs (Louisiana, MO) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 7. South Shelby will attempt to advance on its 17-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 11-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO).

The Bulldogs (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Albany (Albany, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 23-5 record. In their last test, Albany was routed by South Harrison (Bethany, MO), 14-2, in a non-league game.
