In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Dutchtown Griffins volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Airline Vikings.

The Griffins (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Westminster Academy beat Northside Christian (Crowley, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Airline will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Slidell (Slidell, LA).
