The Patriots (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, St. Charles Catholic was knocked off by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Booker T. Washington will attempt to move on its 6-19 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Delcambre (Delcambre, LA).
