The Toreadors (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Newton, IA). The Cardinals enter the contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Newton was beaten by Indianola (Indianola, IA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Lynnville-Sully will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 9-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA).
