South Carolina High School Volleyball - Bridges Prep can't hold off Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Mustangs nudged the host Bridges Prep Buccaneers volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (25-26) will now prepare for their challenge against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 5-16 record. In their last challenge, James Island was nudged by Summerville (Summerville, SC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers play the Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Bridges Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.
