Connecticut High School Volleyball - Brookfield over Pomperaug

In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Brookfield Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pomperaug Panthers.

The Bobcats (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave come into the Southwest-Colonial challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, New Milford lost by Newtown (Newtown, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Pomperaug will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT).
