Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) and the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), observed Carlisle's volleyball team top Greene County by a tally of 2-0.
The Wildcats (20-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers enter the contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, South Hardin was beaten by Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Rams meet the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 9-18 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
