The Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks prevailed the host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Blackjacks confront the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN) in a Camden game, on Tuesday, October 8. Dawson-Boyd will attempt to advance on its 4-23 season record.
The Thunderbirds (1-15) will now prepare for their game against New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Greyhounds enter the Tomahawk game with a 8-13 record. In their last game, New Ulm Cathedral gained a win over Loyola (Mankato, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
