The Vikings (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Charles City (Charles City, IA). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Charles City beat Crestwood (Cresco, IA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Hawks meet the Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Wahawks enter the contest with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA).
